Alfred M. Zuck Public Courage Award NASPAA Student/Graduate Awards
Alfred P. Sloan Public Service Award Since 1973, the Fund has recognized City employees at all ranks and levels of government through its Sloan Public Service Awards, widely regarded as the Nobel Prizes of City government. This program annually honors six outstanding civil servants whose work performance and commitment to the public transcend not merely the ordinary but the extraordinary-- day after day and year after year. In honoring these winners, the Fund also acknowledges the contributions of the many thousands of dedicated public servants who, with integrity and devotion, perform the work that keeps this complex city running.
Corporate Engagement Award of Excellence The National Conference on Volunteering and Service
Deborah S. Moore Service Award The Deborah S. Moore Service Awards recognize exemplary service and outstanding volunteerism by students and clubs at North Carolina State University. Application due in April.
Donald C. Stone Service to ASPA The Stone Award pays tribute to ASPA members who have contributed outstanding services to the Society. Any individual currently an ASPA member and who has been an ASPA member for three consecutive years is eligible for consideration.

Fire Prevention and Safetry Award Geico - Federal Employees' Public Service Awards The federal employee nominated for this category should be making (or have made) significant contributions in the prevention of fires and its hazards and/or in the education and enlightenment of the public in this area. The work may be all or part of their occupation, or as a result of volunteer efforts.
Gloria Hobson Nordin Social Equity Award This annual award recognizes lifetime achievement and effort in the cause of social equity and is open to all nominees. Candidates may be employees of state, local or federal government; employees in the non-profit sector; or employees of colleges and universities. Elected public officials are also eligible for the award. Employees from the private sector are also eligible for the award, but the emphasis is on achievement and effort in the public sector.
Innovations in American Government Awards Program Harvard Kennedy School-Ash Institute for Governance and Innovation
Leadership in Service to the Citizen Association For Federal Information Resources Management (AFFIRM) - Presented for excellence in management information technology for improved services to the citizen.
Leadership in Service to the Country Association For Federal Information Resources Management (AFFIRM) - Presented for excellence in government information services improvement or effectiveness on a national level by leveraging information for mission accomplishment
National Public Service Award The American Bar Association - The Committee on Pro Bono annually presents two National Public Service Awards. One recognizes the pro bono contributions of an individual and the other recognizes those of a law firm or corporate law department.
National Public Service Scholarship Walden University - The National Public Service Scholarship is for those students serving at the national level only, such as at federal and nonprofit agencies or institutions with a national scope and a mission to serve the nation in its entirety (e.g., the American Cancer Society), and who seek the doctorate to enhance their effectiveness in their professional roles in service to their country.
Physical Rehabilitation Award Geico - Federal Employees' Public Service Awards - The federal employee nominated for this category should be making (or have made) significant contributions to the rehabilitation of persons affected by physical limitations as a result of accident or birth and/or in the education and enlightenment of the public in this area. The work may be all or part of their occupation, or as a result of volunteer efforts.
Public Integrity Award ASPA
Service to America Medals Partnership for Public Service - “The Service to America Medals are important because they tell the true stories of the remarkable work that our federal employees do each and every day. There is not a day that passes where government does not touch our lives in some way — whether it is stopping the spread of disease, combating fraud and corruption, or protecting our environment,” said Max Stier, Partnership for Public Service President.
Southern Consortium of University Public Service Organizations Innovator Award Each year, Southern Growth Policies Board honors Southern initiatives that are improving economic opportunities and quality of life in the region. The 2010 Innovator Awards will be chosen from creative initiatives in the region that aim to help communities recover from the recession.
Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Award Geico - Federal Employees' Public Service Awards - The federal employee nominated for this category should be making (or have made) significant contributions to the prevention of substance or alcohol abuse and/or in the education and enlightenment of the public in this area. The work may be all or part of their occupation, or as a result of volunteer efforts.
The Elmer B. Staats Public Service Career Award NASPAA Faculty Awards - The purpose of this award is to recognize faculty who inspire students to pursue public service careers and encourage student interest and participation.

Traffic Safety and Accident Prevention Award Geico - Federal Employees' Public Service Awards - The federal employee nominated for this category should be making (or have made) significant contributions to vehicular and pedestrian safety and/or in the education and enlightenment of the public in this area.
